The thickness of the PU coating and the coating technology determine the waterproofness of the fabric, and the coating thickness is expressed in mm, indicating the static waterproof column height of the coating under laboratory conditions.

The PU800 coating shows that the coating is non-leakable under a static water column of 800mm. PU800 coating provides protection against light to moderate rain.

The coating of PU1000-1200 can prevent moderate to heavy rain.

Coatings over 1500mm can basically be used in various environments.

The tents are generally made of breathable fabrics. The breathability of breathable fabrics is bidirectional. When the outside humidity is high, the moisture will also penetrate into the fabric. The texture of nylon cloth mainly depends on the quality of nylon yarn, textile density, dyeing technology and textile technology. There are 170T, 190T, 210D and higher weave nylon fabrics in terms of density.

3. Strength and resilience of struts

The tent pole must have high strength and good resilience. The best tent poles at the moment are carbon poles, aluminum alloy down, fiberglass down, and iron poles (except for troops that are almost useless).

The wind resistance of a tent is not only related to the texture diameter of the tent poles, but also to the number of sets of tent poles. Generally speaking, the more sets of tent poles, the better the wind resistance performance.

4. The bottom of the account should be waterproof and wear-resistant

The bottom of the account is required to be waterproof and strong and wear-resistant. The commonly used materials for the bottom of the account are PE cloth and waterproof polyester cloth. PE tent bottom is used for middle and low-grade tents, and waterproof polyester cloth is used for middle and high-grade tents. PE is a polyethylene material, similar to a low-grade snakeskin bag. The actual tent uses a double-sided PE material with a waterproof membrane, including a large number of export tents. The bottom of the tent is in contact with the ground and is easily scratched by debris such as gravel, grass roots and branches. Therefore, before camping outdoors, clean up hard objects on the ground, or use tent floor cloth to lay the ground on the surface as a protective layer. Tent floor cloth generally uses 420D wear-resistant Oxford cloth.

5. Choose tents with front and rear double doors or windows

The front and rear double doors or the tent with the window is more conducive to ventilation, which ensures the air circulation in the tent and does not feel stuffy when using it. At this point, the new quick-opening tent is better designed and has better ventilation.

6. Reasonable design

The tent design should be reasonable, and there should be enough ground and windproof rope. Auxiliary accessories such as packaging bags, tent nails, tent ropes also affect the use of the tent. The packaging bag should be sturdy and durable, the number of tent nails should be sufficient, the strength of the aluminum nail should be large, and the tent rope should be used to fix the tent.
